Design: The square-inside-a-circle design of the 1920s has been updated, the square being enlarged, the label name made smaller to allow for more imprinted info, and the decorative fill simplified.

History: The Aeolian Company, player piano manufacturers in New York, launched its own line of lateral-cut records in 1919. The label was sold to Brunswick in 1924, to Warner Bros. in 1930, to CBC in 1938, back to Brunswick and finally to Decca.
