Design: The label name, set at an acute angle, is written out in a fast-paced monoline script which suggests a thick felt pen rather than a brush, but is quite legible.
History: Label scan courtesy of Canadian disc jockey John Worthington of CKUA radio network, Alberta. Thanks for updated info to collector Dave Dixon of Canada, who writes: "The Vanatone label was one of two 78 rpm commercial labels produced in Vancouver B.C. Canada, but unlike the other label (Aragon), Vanatone only lasted a few months. During that time they apparently pressed the Ambassador disc from the Cave Supper Club as well as producing a handful of releases featuring Vancouver musicians and entertainers."
