Design: A similar approach to the contemporary Columbia label, in which bisecting lines are used to create large alternating panels of solid colour (the Columbia label also seems likely to have been produced by Quality Records).

History: Originally founded in 1919 as a movie production company by superstars of the silver screen Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks, who wished to gain control of their own artistic futures. The music side of the business was formed after UA was sold to Transamerica Corporation in 1957, when its first releases were launched; the music side of UA was later sold to Metro Goldwyn Mayer. This Canadian release was produced by Quality Records of Ontario.
