Design: The label name seems to be stretched wider at the sides, with the middle bar of the 'E' stretched out to fill empty space. Silver is a popular colour for printing in the 1950s.

History: Launched by Willard and Lillian McMurry from their record store in Jackson, Mississippi, in 1950.
