Design: An ultra-bold Gothic for the label name which, for reasons of clarity, if an outline was needed at all, would have looked better outlined in black rather than white. The spiky nature of the Gothic contrasts with the smooth, rounded forms of the script lettering and panel below. The winged horse leaping over the spindle hole is Pegasus, a heavenly steed featured prominently in Greek mythology, probably used here to represent speed of service, or as a bringer of news. The 'Personal Recording' line probably means that this was a limited-edition private recording not offered for sale to the general public.

History: Unknown (have info? Please send to info.re.78s@shaw.ca). Label scan courtesy of collector and musicologist Bill Dean-Myatt of the U.K.
