Design: A fun and effective piece of rope-lettering, with a cartoon-like figure of a cowboy.

History: Joe Murphy and his Radio Swing Band originally started on Cape Breton Island (where fiddle music is an important part of the culture) in the early 1920s, when they were known as the Rainbow Melody Boys. Eventually they migrated to Florida, continuing to play there for many years. Label scan courtesy of collector Kjell Thorsen of Norway.
