Design: A basic but seldom-seen shape on labels, the triangle is here used to good effect, the motif being repeated within in a honeycomb pattern. Shading is extensively used, giving a three-dimensional effect to the image.

History: The Wilcox company started out in 1910; during the 1920s they started manufacturing radios. In the 1930s the company name changed to Wilcox-Gay, and the product line was expanded to include tape decks, TVs, police radios etc. The Recordio Disc, a plastic-coated aluminum disc capable of good-quality recording, was introduced by them in 1939, being adopted by many professional musicians. However, magnetic tape decks would soon become the industry standard.
