RCA Victor 8

RCA Victor (Colombia) / c. 1970

back next

Design: The design has been simplified from the earlier RCA Victor labels, using assymetrical lines of axis -- note the tiny lines of type at the top and bottom, which are visually flush left with the vertical-running RCA logo, and are ragged right; the imprinting of the artist name and the song title are flush left on an axis to the right of the RCA logo.

History: Label scan courtesy of collector Joaquin López of Mexico, who writes: "This is the classic RCA label from early 70's in America. Estela Nuñez recorded Una Lagrima in Mexico in 1969, so this Colombian record has to be around 1969 or 1970."
