Design: A mix of asymmetrical and symmmetrical design, which is not very aesthetically satisfying. The label name is set in a chunky-looking display typeface called Matura, which was designed by Hungarian typographer Imre Reiner in 1938.

History: Launched in Los Angeles, California in 1952, and purchased by Liberty Records in 1957. Label scan courtesy of collector Ken Hagelthorn of the U.S.A.
