Design: The lower segment is framed with a thick and thin border, surmounted by a statue. Label scans courtesy of collector Dimitar Malchev of Bulgaria, who writes: "The statue depicted is the celebrated propagandist work of Vera Muchina, 'Worker and woman-kolkhoznik' (collective-farmer), which was made for the Soviet Pavilion at the Paris Exposition of 1936."
