Design: Evidently the label dealt with accordion music, judging from the illustration behind the label name. The label name itself is lettered in a style with blobby-ended swashes, perhaps meant to suggest an Oriental (or at least exotic) origin. Why such a name was chosen for a label featuring this kind of music is unclear.

History: The word 'Kismet,' in the religion of Islam, refers to the immutable will of Allah. Record kindly donated by collector Ed Wolk of Canada.
