Design: Iberia is the name of the peninsula at the western edge of Europe, including Spain, Portugal and part of France. The attractive sketch of long-horned cattle being herded by a gaucho (matador?) past a woman carrying a fan (a flamenco dancer?) on a vine-draped verandah successfully evokes the culture of the area. However, the label name lettering, probably done by the same artist, is rather crudely drawn and ill-proportioned; the 'E' seems to be upside down.
History: Label scan courtesy of collector Jorge Fernandez, who notes that the song on this record was one of his mother's favourites.
