Design: A very rough approximation of the Hawaii Kingdom national coat of arms is featured as a backdrop to almost the entire label face. Designed by the College of Arms in London in 1845 in celebration of the islands' independence from British rule, the horizontally striped sections represent the eight islands of Hawaii as seen on the flag, and the other quarters show an image of a covered ball on a stick, which was carried ceremoniously in front of the king to show his authority and protection. The crown at the top indicates royalty, surmounted by the cross which shows the superiority of Christ over all.

History: Unknown (have info? Please send to info.re.78s@shaw.ca).
