Design: The label name is lettered in a thick 'poster-brush' style, the closely-spaced vertical strokes contrasting with the wide horizontal sweeping strokes above and below. The word 'Records,' set in a thin, widely-spaced Bank Gothic font, also provides contrast. Blue and silver was also a popular colour combination in the 1940s and 1950s.
