Design: Childrens' records usually employ bright colours and simple graphics on the label (compare with Lincoln), but here the black and grey colour combination is very sober; the record apparently relying on contrast with the bright yellow vinyl of which it is made for visual appeal, and taking its name from the same material. Another example of the infinite variety of treatment for the label name, which is here treated as a miniature spinning record, embossed in upper and lowercase script and positioned tight to the spindle hole. The whole design is reminiscent of a 1950s autmobile steering wheel, with lots of chrome and stars.
