Design: A very plain layout, in the popular 1950s colour combination of silver on red. Nothing has been done to take advantage of the graphic possibilities suggested by the label name. All the smaller lines are typeset in Linotype Metro, primarily used in newspaper production, which was designed in 1937 by well-known American typographer W.A. Dwiggins. It was not quite so geometrically structured as were other popular sans serif fonts issuing from German typefoundries.
History: Unknown (have info? Please send to firstname.lastname@example.org). Label scan courtesy of collector Kjell Thorsen of Norway.
