Design: A lively, unconventional piece of pseudo-brush script lettering for the label name, but with no information as to location. Judging by the typographic style, the label is American-made. There is a misprint on the group's name, which should have read 'Stompers.'
History: Thanks to Rolf Meister of Jukebox-Melodies, Radio Munot Betriebs in Switzerland, who writes: "The Rocky Mountain Ol' Time Stompers were an Italian group which started in 1956. Band members were Enzo Jannacci (piano), Luigi Tenco (sax), Paolo Tomelleri (sax), Giorgio Gaber (guitar) and Gianfranco Reverberi (guitar) -- although I can't hear any saxes in their recordings, and there is no mention of a bass-player or Len Ellis. Gaber was one of the first Italian rock'n'rollers and is still very famous." Label scan courtesy of collector Kjell Thorsen of Norway.
