Electrecord 3

Electrecord (Romania) / 1956

Design: A very beautiful and powerful design, with the Aeolian harp being dropped in favour of a large treble clef on a swirling music staff, which occupies the central area (the graphic treatment has much in common with the Swedish Savel label). The label name lettering has been carefully drawn to avoid the spacing difficulties inherent in placing letters in a semicircular radius, with the top of the letters (and the main vertical strokes) being wider at the top than at the bottom.

History: As previous. Label scan courtesy of collector Florin Caloianu of Romania.
