Edison Bell

Edison Bell (Italy) / c. 1950

Design: The brush-script logo, with its swelling, flowing underline, dates stylistically from the 1920s (the term 'Electron' was likely descriptive of electric recording technology, which was first introduced in about 1925); this version has been redrawn from the original, and because of the retouching, the outline of the bell has lost some of its integrity.

History: Label scan courtesy of collector Luca Barzaghi of Italy.
