Design: A very fine illustration of a Mississippi riverboat (an image also to be seen on the Memphis and Dixieland labels), immediately conjuring up connotations of New Orleans 'traditional jazz' (New Orleans was called the 'Crescent City' because of its overall shape as it expanded along the shoreline of a sharp bend in the Mississippi River). The label name lettering is almost in the classic style of the 1920s, but does not carry the distinguishing swash underline.
History: Unknown (have info? Please send to email@example.com). Label scan courtesy of collector Kjell Thorsen of Norway.
