Columbia 7

Columbia (U.S.A.) / c. 1958

Design: The label name returns to its earliest configuration, following the outer radius. A very understated design, with the label name hardly any stronger than the song title. The 'walking eye,' a graphic representation of a record with a stylus point entering the groove (thanks for info to Marcus) is utilized within the label name.

History: Columbia produced 78 rpm records until 1958 in the U.S. and to 1960 in Canada.
