Design: Calligraphic flourishes are here used to good effect. Shading on the outer border highlights the corporate logo, set on a music staff.
History: Thanks to collector Georg Richter of Germany for the following info (and the alternate scan below): "Charles Brull (aka Karl Brüll, Karl Broll?) is thought to have had a music publishing business in Germany in the early 1930s, and may subsequently have moved operations to Paris or London. More recently, the Brull music publishing business was acquired by Universal Music Publishing GmbH of Berlin (started in 1999 from a merger of MCA Music Publishing and PolyGram Music Publishing, and now reputed to be one of the world's biggest companies in that field)."
