Design: A formal, symmetrical layout in the upper segment, featuring the company's heraldic coat of arms, contrasted with an informal, handwritten placard in the lower segment. As far as I remember, the Bristol cigarette was menthol-flavoured, which may account for the icy-blue colouring, but which is lacking in punch.
History: Label scan courtesy of collector and musicologist Bill Dean-Myatt of the U.K., who writes: "This single sided advertising record was issued in the early 1950s by [cigarette manufacturers] W.D. & H.O. Wills & Co. Ltd., of Bristol."
