Design: The design is quite unusual, with the outsized label name running half-way round the label and a solid band below the spindle hole. Why the name 'Animal Records' was chosen is unknown; some graphics of animals might have made the label more appealing to children, if that was the market segment being aimed at. The burgundy and silver colour combination was popular in the 1950s.
