Design: An angel blowing a trumpet (horn) floats through the sky, overlaid by a scroll bearing the label name. The Gothic lettering is very small, squat and widely spaced, and not of the tall proportion and close spacing seen in typical traditional Gothic script.
History: Label scan courtesy of collector Luca Barzaghi of Italy, who writes: "Angelicum was a label made in Milan and was owned by the Catholic Church. Angelicum mainly specialized in classical and religious music."
