Vox (U.S.A.) / 1947

Design: The spindle hole forms the inner counter of the cap O of the label name, one of very few labels to make efficient use of what is, for most designs, an awkward problem.

History: Label scan courtesy of collector Georg Richter of Germany, who notes that this particular record formed part of a set of three records featuring Louis Armstrong titles recorded by Polydor in 1934 in Paris, France. It is not known whether this label was in any way connected with the German Vox label of the 1920s.
