Triola (Finland) / c. 1949

Design: A radical departure from the previous label design, moving into the 'modern' era, emphasizing direct communication in bold, 'in-your-face' sans serif letters, rather than a pretty 'word-picture' logo. The vertical panels, printed in pink, also reflect the new 1950s approach of flat abstract shapes (e.g. Amiga, Barclay). One of the few labels to make use of the spindle hole (see also Aloha).

History: Unknown (have info? Please send to Label scan courtesy of collector Jukka Kettunen of Finland.
