Design: The label name, lettered in a thick pen script, features a drop shadow, creating register problems where the line is thin. The fonts used for the imprinting is Gill Sans; designed in the late 1920s, the style became an immediate worldwide success. Unlike other contemporary fonts, such as Paul Renner's Futura (see next label), which were based on geometric shapes, designer Eric Gill used humanistic (Roman) proportions as a basis for his letterforms.

History: Unknown (have info? Please send to info.re.78s@shaw.ca). The record was made in Sweden but marketed in Finland. Label scan courtesy of collector Jukka Kettunen of Finland.
