Design: A stylish, clean-looking design for the time, with the label name in an Art Deco-influenced style. The black and grey (silver?) colour combination is attractive and quite legible.
History: Scans above and below courtesy of collector Georg Richter of Germany, who writes: "SAKS Records was located at 884 Pavonia Avenue, Jersey City, NJ. This particular record was advertised in the Billboard magazine for June 1942. The B-side is definitively not the 'overnight sensation!'"
