Design: Black and yellow is the highest-contrast colour combination of all. The bold stripe across the face of the label, containing the label name, is also meant to maximize visual impact, with no subtle graphic plays on either of the words 'Royal' or 'jazz.'

History: Label scan courtesy of collector Georg Richter of Germany, who writes: "Royal Disques Inc., or the label Royal Jazz, was based in Paris, France. Around 1990, a 'Royal Jazz' label issued some CDs featuring bootleg recordings made in the 1950s."
