Polonia (Poland) / c. 1949

Design: Unusual step-angled italic cap lettering for the label name, also carrying a shadow. At the top is a four leaf clover flanked by what look like daffodils; whether these images bear national significance or are simply decorative fillers is unknown.

History: Label scan courtesy of collector Lucyna Lachowicz of Poland, who notes: "Polonia was created after World War II and featured Polish émigré performers, initially in London, then in the U.S."
