Design: The strange arbitrarily-shaped ornament either side of the spindle hole is quite eye-catching, as is the bright primary colour combination.

History: As previous. Label scan courtesy of collector Jan van Meenen of Belgium. Thanks for updated info to Emerson, who writes: "The space on the superior side of Opika label from Congo is to put photos of the musicians [not for a duty stamp]. Most Opikas have photos of the artists, like other labels used to do (Decca, for example)."
