Design: A clever design, utilizing the ornamented cast iron pattern to be seen on many balconies overlooking the streets of New Orleans, known as the Crescent City or the 'Big Easy.' The font used for the label name is Gill Shadow, designed in 1927 by British stonecutter artist Eric Gill and used quite effectively here.

History: Label scan courtesy of collector Georg Richter of Germany.
