Design: The label printing seems to have been done by the letterpress process, as there is slurring at the top from an excess of ink collecting along the leading (or trailing) edge of the overall image, while in the broad areas of the moustache-like shape the ink is starved.

History: Owned by the state during the Communist era. Label scan courtesy of collector Lucyna Lachowicz of Poland, who writes: "The 'dove of peace' appearing above the spindle hole was drawn by the artist Pablo Picasso, and at the foot is a slogan which reads: 'Long Live the World Congress of Peace.'"
