Design: The label name is set in panoramic fashion, with a curious angular hook at the bottom left and right. At the top is a music clef inside a shaded frame, which appears to be in a swinging motion; perhaps this is meant to represent a metronome, with its tick-tock mechanism. A double line border, which does not match the line weight of the lettering, stretches across the top of the label but for some reason does not continue beyond the label name.
History: Unknown (have info? Please send to email@example.com). The movie 'Singin' Spurs' was released in 1948, and this song from that movie was one of the top tunes of that year. The colour combination and general appearance suggest a Compo origin. Record courtesy of collector Ed Wolk of Canada.
