Design: The 50/50 split between upper and lower segments became increasingly popular on label designs during the 1930s and 1940s, perhaps due to increasing awareness of the value of graphics, whether type or image. The prancing pony, though delicately drawn, is very strong because of the solid colour background. The label name lettering shows creativity in the treatment of the capital A, and though small in size, provides a level platform for interesting shape-spaces created by the pony's legs.

History: According to music researcher and collector Bill Dean-Myatt of the U.K., this label was active between 1936 and 1945.
