Imperial 3

Imperial (Germany) / c. 1946

Design: As noted below, the wording around the outer circle shows that it has been approved for general release. The logo has been redrawn from previous issues; the world-map is different; the banner containing the label name has deeper 'waves' and has plain endings; and the lettering contained within is heavier in weight.

History: Label scan courtesy of collector Georg Richter of Germany, who writes: "This label shows that it has been allowed for release to the public by the Allied news control authority. Earlier masters were used (the recording here is from June 6, 1941) and the label is made from recycled paper."
