Design: The divided panels are a variation on the 'yin-yang' design often seen on labels of the period, e.g. Signature. The label name lettering, which seeks to evoke a feeling of quality and luxury (the gold and black colour combination is also suggestive of richness) is an odd combination of floriated Victorian-era initial caps and engraved script lowercase, exhibiting a whip-like ending.

History: An independent post-WWII label based in Chicago, which lasted approximately two years, with a large body of collectible jazz among its offerings. Label scan courtesy of collector Georg Richter of Germany.
