Design: The same font (Gill Shadow) and colour treatment can be seen on the Dana label.

History: Active from 1939 to about 1941. Thanks for updated info to collector Dave Dixon of Canada, who writes: "General was sold in the early 40s to Milt Gabler of Commodore Records, who then reissued the Jelly Roll Morton items on his Commodore label."
