Design: The same design that first appeared in the mid-1920s (right), though the label name and decoration have been slightly scaled down in size. Post-WWII military control information runs outside the outer border in the upper segment; a thicker weight of line is used for both type and decoration. The colour combination remains exactly the same, though the quality of presswork is far superior in the earlier version, possibly due to the shortage and inferiority of available materials following WWII, especially in paper and gold ink.
