Columbia (U.K.) / c. 1941

Design: The red-white-and-blue Columbia sash/banner (see 1920s version) has morphed into a striped necktie. The recording here by the pseudo-aristocratic duo, The Western Brothers, pokes fun at William Joyce, "Lord Haw-Haw," whose broadcasts from Germany during WWII attempted to discourage the British public, to no avail.

History: As previous. Label scan courtesy of collector Graham Farnell of the U.K.
