Design: Some very creative pseudo-Gothic pen calligraphic lettering for the label name overlapping an outline drawing of a bell, the baseline matching its curvature. A classy, well-orchestrated design.
History: Unknown (have info? Please send to email@example.com). The small print around the perimeter reads 'Honolulu, T.H. [Territory of Hawaii] Hawaii' which would indicate the label was published prior to August 1959, when Hawaii was admitted into the United States as the 50th state. From 1941 to 1944 the Territory was under martial law, when its civilian government was dissolved and a military governor appointed.
