Design: This attractive and dynamic label shows great understanding of visual balance, even though there is a mix of symmetry and assymetry in the positioning of the main elements. There is also strong contrast in the logo: the block of lettering and its verticality is contrasted with the wide circular sweep of the capital 'A.' This imagery is reflected in the rooster: the blocky area of the bird's body and its vertically-reaching neck, with the tail swooping out in the reverse direction. The Stinson handshake logo has also been integrated much more effectively than in the previous label.
History: The Asch label, launched around 1941 by Moses Asch, survived until 1948.
