Victors Foreign Record

Victor's Foreign Record (Canada) / c. 1934

Design: The Nipper logo is replaced by an Aeolian harp, supported by what appears to be a pair of dolphins or killer whales leaping out of water.

History: The label name ("Victor's Foreign Record") is unusual, as is the varied provenance: recorded in Europe, pressed in the U.S.A. for a Canadian corporate entity and marketed to various ethnic groups, in this case Hungarian. Label scan courtesy of collector Owen Burgess of Canada.
