Unison Record

Unison Record (U.K.) / c. 1931

Design: All the elements are softly rounded except for the electrical flashes. A nice robin's-egg blue background contrasted with a royal blue and gold.

History: Music researcher and collector Bill Dean-Myatt of the U.K. notes: "Unison Records were made by the Vocalion company for sale in Co-Operative Wholesale Society stores. The issues duplicate those on the Broadcast label, but it is thought that not every Broadcast was issued on Unison." A 2" label on an 8" record, a slew of which appeared in England in the early 30s (Broadcast, Edison-Bell etc.).
