Design: A striking feature of this strong design is the die-cutting of the label itself, with its delicately scalloped edge being reminiscent of flower-petals, a popular image in Japanese culture. The mounted warrior in the circular logo also has strong cultural resonance. What the label name actually means is unknown.
History: The Teikoku Gramophone Co. of Nara, Japan was founded in 1935 and evidently went through a name change to Teichiku.
