Design: In the upper segment, the dignified design shows the royal coat of arms of England centred above the spindle hole, backed by an attractive floral pattern. The challenging print process of gold on white works well.

History: The recording presents a farewell speech to the British Empire by the Duke of Windsor (formerly King Edward VIII) following his abdication from the royal throne, the scandalous impasse being brought to a head by his insistence on marrying the twice-divorced American socialite Wallis Simpson.
