Design: The label name now travels straight across, instead of following the outer curve, and features a distinctive cap 'Y,' which echoes the design of the logo.

History: Launched in 1924 as the export label of Deutsche Grammophon (perhaps the 'Polyfar Recording' notation relates to the so-called Far East). Label scan courtesy of music researcher and collector Bill Dean-Myatt of the U.K., who notes that this label must have been issued during the time of the Sino-Japanese war (1937-1945).
