Design: A variety of musical instruments are scattered around the outer border, with the label name positioned (unusually) in a convex arc in the lower segment, overlaying a music staff. The black background to the image of Eros is strangely fretworked into abstract curlicues. A shiny disc is arbitrarily placed beneath the spindle hole.
History: The Piccadilly label existed for four years, from 1928 to 1932. Label scan courtesy of collector Helmut Janisch of Germany.
