Design: This attractive mauve, lavender and gold combination, introduced in 1926, lasted until 1931. A strong design, with care taken about working around the spindle hole. The well-drawn crown and main line of lettering have the perfect touch of class; large but subdued enough not to overpower the panel containing the record information.
History: The Crystalate Company evolved out of the Neophone Company, and would later morph into the Decca corporation.
